Mythbusting with Bruce Longenecker (PT. 1)

We had a chance to sit down with Professor Bruce Longenecker to discuss his three “myth-breaking” books: Remember the Poor: Paul, Poverty, and The Greco-Roman World, The Cross before Constantine: The Early Life of a Christian Symbol, and The Crosses of Pompeii: Jesus-Devotion in a Vesuvian Town. In this first interview, Professor Longenecker  challenges the myth that Paul’s writings and theology had little concern for the impoverished.
